A New Year’s Promise

Holy hiatus! It’s hard to believe that “Living 5 to 9” is already five months old…with only three posts. Yikes. I believe the term people use today is “ghosted”. I ghosted everyone on here, and I feel HORRIBLE about doing it. As many bloggers can attest to, taking on blogging can sometimes feel like a second job- especially in the beginning, but they say whatever you do, don’t stop writing. And I’m afraid to say that I’m guilty of breaking that one rule. But new year, fresh start, so to catch everyone up on what’s been going on, I’ve decided to make a two part post; part one is my “New Years Promise” to all of you, and part two will be a “Lately” post that compiles the very best experiences I had of every month from October to Present. While it won’t make up for all the posts that I’ve let slip by for the past few weeks, it should catch everyone up on the latest happenings in the last few months in 2016. Deal?

Now for my “New Year’s Promise” :

As most of you know, I created this blog to serve as motivation to live outside of my 9-5 job, and while I might have strayed from my blog’s purpose during my brief hiatus, my time away was certainly eye-opening and inspiring to say the least. I’m happy to say that I’m ready to jump feet first into 2017 and make the most out of this year, both personally and professionally. Furthermore, I’m excited to come back to blogging and even more motivated to continue growing the “Living 5 to 9” blog. So without any more delay, here’s to another great year everyone!

Do you have any New Years goals for 2017?
