{October 2016- J and I took the plunge. No, not THAT plunge! We drove out to northern Illinois one cool, crisp fall Saturday to jump out of a plane at 12,000 feet at the Chicagoland Skydiving Center! Skydiving can officially be crossed off the bucket list.}

{November 2016 – In November, I was extremely lucky to spend a Sunday afternoon at the Revolution Brewery Tap Room Art Show with my sister Sarah, a local entrepreneur, and the talented creator behind the above pieces. If you haven’t gotten the chance to stop her booth at the shows, it’s your lucky day! You can view and purchase all of her work at her Etsy shop below:

{December 2016 – Dressed to the nines with J at the Chicago History Museum for our Christmas date. For one evening only every year, the museum turns back the clock and invites Chicagoans to come out in their best 1920s attire “on the eve of the repeal of Prohibition”, and what a sight it was to see! Roaring 20s music playing from the live bands, swanky Gatsby attire, and enough faux gambling that would make the Chicago mobsters proud…needless to say if anyone in the Chicago area is looking for a great holiday date (with friends or with your significant other), be sure to check out the History Museum in the fall so you can order your ticket!}

{January 2017 – I believe I may have found the cure for dreary days and the winter blues. The answer: crepes and couture – can you think of a more perfect combo? Sarah and I braved the Chicago cold earlier this month to expand our culinary palette at Creperie De Paris in Lincoln Park and fashion knowledge of American Couturiers at the Mainbocher Exhibit at the Chicago History Museum. I’m not sure if this day could have been more fabulous!}
